You guys are making me hungry! Now i want loaded mashed potatoes made with sour cream :)
Sometimes, I boil mine in vegetable broth to give them a kick but it really depends on what we're having them with.
I'm beyond stuffed at the moment. We attempted to make homemade doughnuts this morning, complete with buttercream filling, sugar glaze and chocolate icing. They weren't the prettiest things but they're absolutely delicious and SO filling!
My DD is a holiday baby :) She was due the 24th but waited till the 28th. I have a cousin born the 25th, and at least 3 aunts and an uncle with birthdays between Christmas and New year's Day lol. Busy week in my family!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! My parents got us a Cuisinart stand mixer for Christmas! I've been dying for a good mixer for a long time :) I'm cookied out now but I can't wait to actually try it out soon!
I miss my self cleaner that we had at our old house. We'd just throw a fan in the window that was right next to us and it would be fine. That was when we lived in the city though and had natural gas. Out here, even if our oven had the option, i don't think we'd use it. It would use up too...

You're welcome!
:)
Let me know how it goes! My DH was never a soup person till I started making soup lol
You're welcome!
Tomorrow, I'll be doing a double batch of split pea and ham soup. I have the peas soaking and the ham thawing :)

Yes, it is a ton of soup but it'll be so easy all winter to just grab a bag out of the freezer for supper :)
I'll try to share the recipe later tonight after I manage to get done.
No I'm not. More an attempted and failed vegan than anything lol though with the amount of bacon and cheese I've been eating lately, i might as well do keto!
Speaking of cheese, Aldi has their Transylvanian Romanian cave cheese again. If you guys haven't tried it, you really have to! I look...
Welcome! This looks like a good recipe https://www.erinliveswhole.com/chickpea-brownies/
We've made black bean brownies before and they were awesome. I might have to try this recipe too :)
