I have two chicks being raised in my coop by a broody mama. I got them from a local feed store - supposed to be sexed barnevelders. But one is bigger, lighter color, and has a larger comb. Is it just differences in individuals or is one a little cockerel?

It doesn’t look male but it doesn’t look like a barnevelder either…I’ve only had one but she looked like the one on the left.

Both are pullets. One looks like a Partridge Rock
It does! It would actually be kinda nice if they ended up being two different breeds. The hatchery I got them from does also have partridge rocks. Just seems odd if they truly mixed them up.

I have 3 Barnevelders. All suppose to pullets. All 3 are growing at different rates. I'm worried 1 will be a Roo. I got them from a hatchery. So I'm wondering if they hatched on different days. That 1 to 2 days can make that much of a difference in growth.
