Hi, I've noticed these foamy yellow droppings, I think produced by 1 year old rooster. Is this something to worry about? I called the vet and they recommended apple cider vinegar in water for a week. Is this effective or necessary? If not, what works best and how often? Thanks in advance😊

Apple cider vinegar will not deworm the birds.

Is the foamy poop consistent or is this a one time thing?

If you do wish to deworm, then use a dewormer like Safeguard (Fenbendazole) or Valbazen (Albendazole).

To treat most worms that poultry can have except for Tapeworm - Safeguard dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once a day for 5 days in a row.
---OR---
Valbazen dose is 0.08ml per pound of weight given orally once, then repeated in 10 days.

Thank you for the advice, it is not always like this but I have been finding them throughout the day. Is there a trick to giving these meds orally? I have never done so before with chickens:idunno
