I was skepticalSFHs are curious unafraid birds which is a trait I love which is great for camera shots![]()
Isn’t it horrible to be attacked by those little velociraptors? I have tiny bites everywhere.I was skepticalwhen I heard them described this way but they are indeed markedly different. The forwardness of all
of them is markedly different than my previous flock (a mix of colored layers, FBCM, and Orps.)
I know I risk sounding weird here lol but the best way I can describe it is they seem to be hyper- aware of the world.
Once they check out that it’s safe they are all over me pecking, grooming my hair, digging in my clothes en mass. Like a tiny feathered army on a mission to discover the world.
This does indeed make it quite easy to get great photos![]()
They can be overwhelming for sure. I have a tiny freckle on my forearm that they will not leave alone at all. One stops pecking it and another starts. I have taken to putting a bandaid over it just so they will leave it beIsn’t it horrible to be attacked by those little velociraptors? I have tiny bites everywhere.

Awwwlll, now that’s cute!
That’s them resting. When they awaken, they will attack again.Awwwlll, now that’s cute!![]()
Stop the food talk! I have a serious issue with cankers and can barely eat! And all I can think of is how nice a chocolate bar would be!
