I know that feeling. My church benefits from my chickens labor as well. One big feathered family and are church members too.
Except that pastor won’t allow me to bring any of them to his sermons. I asked him if I could bring only one or two. I told him that he benefited from the hens and that they are church members. Answer was still a NO!

And he's a man of God. The God that loves all creatures. Make him stand outside the door. Bad Pastor

Uh oh!

I was kind of excited (eggcited heheh) when I first saw this egg in the nest. Was going to blow it out but the shell was suuuuuper thin. So I threw it in the woods for the animals. I don't know whose egg this was so I'll have to keep an eye out. Just a one time glitch, I hope.

Some people are just cruel at heart. They don't give a thought to the comforts of another person, let alone an animal or bird. They deserve neither.

That would be a criminal offense to do that. Chemical compounds that can cause any change of the body, without consent,(including laxatives), is a felony. I certainly don’t want to do prison time because of that idiot.

I don't want to look at that picture again, but I vaguely remember a small cage with no food or water. If so, can you turn him into the Humane Society?

But, really as far as the little cage is concerned. Production egg farms can do it, so that's apparently not illegal.

It’s not illegal, but it is immoral.
The neighbor has mental health issues and so does his siblings. Right or wrong doesn’t make a difference to him. I have spoken with the wife, but she has no comment on the situation.

And offering to buy the lot of birds would only encourage them to get more to abuse, if my experience is right.
