Look at those beautiful chickens. Do not let them fool you though, they are plotting world domination. You see, now we have this available....

All we are waiting on is one of your loyal subjects to go broody and they can have a dozen of these tiny orbs sent to your coop. You are wise and know everything that your subjects are thinking. You know one of them is plotting hatching chicks this year. Who is it going to be? Will it be a repeat offender in Sydney or Lady Featherington? Will Hattie or Aster or even her majesty herself take up the call of motherhood?
You let me know oh great queen and your humble servant @BY Bob will see that whoever it is gets a dozen right away. I promise you will not regret it. You will have your own army of tricksters at your beck and call. They will be ready for mischief and any sort of games you can think of.
I was just thinking it looked very Norman Rockwell-ish!That second photo looks like it is a painting or an AI construction of an idealized farmstead!
You can call your local ASPCA - as mentioned...or, does your state have animal inspectors? In my state, each town (some towns share the job/position) there is an animal inspector that has to legally come around 1 time per year (usually fall, before it gets into frigid winter season) and inspects your property/facilities for adequate food, water, bedding, shelter. (They also record # & type of animals, too). If you have an animal inspector - this could work too! For a couple of reasons - THEY can call the ASPCA if they find the situation unsuitable...and it has more weight if they call (at least here it does - because nincompoops call. The dairy farm I used to work on would get several visits each early winter from the ASPCA because people called on them. Their heiffers were in a pasture near the road that, at the back side, had the equivalent of an adirondack shelter (3 sided, roofed run-in for them) at the edge of the woods, plus they had the protection of pines & hemlocks in teh woods...but the girls would sometimes choose to be out int eh field during a storm, pawing through the snow eating the grass (even though they had hay in their run-in)..and people thought they were mis-treating them.Feed is scattered around, and they have a rusty can of water
