I tried it yesterday. Didn’t work. But I did see both mamas with their two babies in my yard this morning. I tried to catch mama and my two little ones, but they are just too fast to catch

Or...you're just slowing down

Since they are so wild an animal net might be worth it if you really want to catch them & you're out of gentler options?

Thank you for the detailed info! I took the advice directly from a rehabber in our area who treats dumped roosters every 3 months. Her experience is what I went off of, she's been doing this for a long time (10+ years). It's been 3 days and all 4 birds are acting normally. We are doing a 2 week egg withdrawal period, just to be safe (but you're right, nowhere talks about an egg withdrawal period).

That is because it is not an approved med for the Us or Canada.

Very little is approved for poultry. I am hoping with the interest in backyard flocks that this will change. But the real money is with factory farms and the poultry there. We small holdings poultry keepers are inconsequential.

Thankfully I have a small animal vet who has a farm background and her own flock. But she is very expensive.

Hahahaha not to worry I have about a dozen pairs of these socks, and the slacks are my barn ones I wear over my leggings didn’t want you to think I wear the same thing every day! Ok well the shoes yes - love those sloggers, can’t get them up here. I got these at TSC the last year I visited AZ when mum was there - I bought the last 2 pairs in my size.

Used to be able to get them here but not anymore.

I guess I’ll need to make border run and get another couple pairs sometime this year go to the Olive Garden while I’m at it
