Or...you're just slowing down:old

Since they are so wild an animal net might be worth it if you really want to catch them & you're out of gentler options?
The mama and two little ones were waiting for me on the back porch. They gladly went into the animal carrier. I brought them home inside the chickens room and reunited them with their family. It’s Easter Sunday after all.
Kids should be with their mama today!

Put up a new fence that is damage proof. Good fences make good neighbors.
You must understand that my lot is a step up from the next door lot.
Two feet higher in grade. The barn coop is right on the property line and if I were to put up a fence I would have to move the barn coop. My yard is bigger than the rest of the properties on the block, and I own the alley way next to the church. Making peace with the neighbor, would be so much easier and nicer too. But that’s just a dream.💭

Here’s what I received from my church friends, for an Easter 🐣 gift:
Yep, all of that stuff. IMG_5297.jpeg

She and Mr P should hang out together!

Hahahaha not to worry I have about a dozen pairs of these socks, and the slacks are my barn ones I wear over my leggings 😉😆 didn’t want you to think I wear the same thing every day! Ok well the shoes yes - love those sloggers, can’t get them up here. I got these at TSC the last year I visited AZ when mum was there - I bought the last 2 pairs in my size.

Used to be able to get them here but not anymore.

I guess I’ll need to make border run and get another couple pairs sometime this year 😊 go to the Olive Garden while I’m at it 😉
Maybe we should meet up at the olive garden. 😆

That's wonderful news! :love

So early this morning I found this and ordered it off amazon.

One of the reviews gave a very detailed and helpful plan for treating chickens. Mix up 2 ounces with 3 gallons of warm water and soak each bird for 60 seconds. That will be a chore but it must be done. Then a deep cleaning of the coops and horse stalls while I am at it. Followed by mixing some up in a sprayer and spraying everything. Repeat in a week.

I'm going to treat every bird. So far I have only found them on George and Mrs. E. That does not surprise me as those 2 snuggle together each night. I'm wondering if maybe Mrs E. brought them in when she was given to me?

I'm also wondering if this is a new and recent infestation because as much as I handle the chickens, and snuggle George surely I would have noticed them crawling on me sooner. I could almost blame the cats for this. They caught and dismembered a cardinal in the coop that George and Mrs. E sleep in last week.
I would say Mrs E in this case. It would take more than a week to get that large an infestation.

Which pain? All that cleaning and spraying, or making the tinfoil hat? The dance is easy and the chant is too! :D
no one said anything about dancing!

But the spray cleared up my gang fast even if I forgot to dance!

Muffy saw me filling my face again - I told her she didn’t like apple juice. Handy little side table on this chair. Holds a good sized hen on it!

You had to dance and chant and wear your tinfoil hat. That makes the spray more effective! :old
