Esme is in the nest now so it wasn't hers... Hmm...Good morning! We got another soft-shelled egg this morning. I didn't get a picture. It was in the nest with Sybil's egg so it's just going to be a process of seeing who lays when today to figure out whose it was. I'm guessing Esme since she also usually lays early in the morning, and she was acting a little off yesterday.
It's funny because yesterday Magrat managed to knock down the OS and spilled all of it and they ate it all
one of the chicks has duck wing. Oh why did this happen to me? It is horrible the feathers stick out like some abomination to the chicken world. Little feathers sticking out on each side. Should I cut them off or just leave them alone. What a shock to my heart. She’s fine otherwise, but duck wing on a chick, is like having sideburns on a wiener dog
