Weather was off the charts today, Rain, sleet, snow, sun (very little) no wind , LOTS of wind above freezing and below freezing all in about 8 hours. I tell you Mother Nature is "tripping' on some hard core drugs. The high temp was 34* and now this.

Woke up around 3 am, could not get back to sleep, have been lying here reading. Cat is attacking my foot under the blanket, she wakes up full of feist and ready to rock n roll, lol. Silly ol' cat.

24 here as well. Tuesdays low is supposed to be -6 I will need to let my pipes drip for that.
Morning all, Toms still sleeping although restless. I have been up since 5. asleep at 2am I don't know how Im doing it on 3 hrs. a night sleep. I am bound to crash and burn soon.

age has nothing to do with knowing how to cook. I could name names but I won't.

With age comes wisdom. Just saying... My mom had 6 girls and wouldn't allow us in the torture chamber. Unless it was time to do dishes then 2 of us were sent. I aggravated my sister enough by putting the dishes she had already washed back on her side saying they weren't clean that she would throw me out and say she rather do them herself. Lord knows how I miss her. She was my idol.

Good morning Granny. I wish you were able to get nore rest. Maybe you can nap later today.

We were allowed to wash dishes also, but not taught to cook. Just as well, I guess, mom was no great shakes at it for the most part. I do wish she had taught us how to make her restaurant-quality enchiladas, though! She made good tuna salad and cold macaroni salad too. Oh, there was a meatball soup .. it was called albondigas soup. It means porcupine soup, I think. There ws rice in the meatballs so they looked like little porcupines.

I need to get up and ready to hit the road I guess. I'll be back. He does most of the driving.
