I'm so old I Remember when:

I haven't used any in ages. I hate using bandaids. They hurt when you take them off and they're annoying.
I don't remember that I have to thinking about what brand of bandages to buy many moons ago.

Last year I stood there thinking which brand? As the cheap brand don't stick on well, it falls off easily. They have 1 day bandage to a few days bandage, water proof to no water proof, then there is this special bandage that has something helps skin healed. I stood there for awhile pondering between all those choices.

I got that fancy one Band Aid Advanced Healing and it worked wonder, the cut area improved a great deal. I used it on my chickens and they healed really fast. As you know, chickens won't let a bandage sticking on them for long.

It did not hurt when I peeled it off.

The church was the first one built in the area a long time ago. The first pic not the second that's downtown New Orleans

I rarely use a bandaid anymore. Unless it's a deep cut that needs compression to stop the bleeding, I paint it with New Skin. Burns just like merthiolate used to burn. It's really good for open blisters and causes the injury to heal without forming a scab.

I think the picture with the big tree and moss hanging was in some movies.

Is New Orlean is also Mississippi? I am thinking of many movies I saw about New Orlean or Mississippi. Most movies here in Australia are from America.

I have never heard of New Skin before until now. I google it and I think it is a great idea, liquid bandage and also come in spray.

I will try to remember not to buy more bandage when I run out, but get liquid bandage instead. Small garden cut, chicken Bumble foot..if it is dry quickly before my chicken eats it.

Several movies was at least partly shot in my village of lacombe. It's pretty cool to live amongst the live oaks and bayou that you see on TV
Just indy films but films nonetheless

I have an issue with my right thumb cracking open at the end. I thought it was from handing a lot of paper in my job, in the winter, drying out my skin. It's still happening now that I'm retired.

I use New Skin on the crack (OW! Stings!) and then cover it with a band aid. It takes awhile, but the New Skin covers the break down in the crack. It doesn't stick the broken edges back together, so I need the band aid to protect the area.
