Is this bumblefoot?

One of my chicks has bumps on their feet like it's a bit swollen. They're walking just fine and when I press on it, it doesn't seem to hurt. I've never seen anything like this and none of the other chicks have it as far as I can tell. Is it bumblefoot or something else? What's the best way to treat it in a chick that's about a week old?

A baby chick could only get bumblefoot if it had an open wound and the bacteria from another chicken or something else had gotten in it.

Otherwise, bumblefoot is usually caused in older chickens due to rough terrain or repeatedly jumping off high roosts onto hard surfaces. What do these chicks have for bedding?

I honestly think that looks pretty normal, and my chicks have that too which is kind of "swollen" looking. If you feel it is indeed swollen, then I'd soak its feet in warm Epsom salt for a few minutes and see if you see a difference.

Okay, that makes sense!

I honestly had never noticed something like that before but this chick is my daughter's favorite and she was worried so I wanted to check to be certain it wasn't something that needed treatment.
