meanest rooster you ever had? pics?

i've had a ton of mean roosters, meanest was an easter egger that split my stepdad's boot with his 4 inch spurs

We had a huge white easter egger rooster named Steve. He was only about a year old, but he just kept getting worse and worse. My kids and all my kids' friends were terrified of him (for good reason), and it got to the point where I had to take some garden implement into the coop with me just so I could change water and feed. Well he was out one day (didn't know he was) and I was watching my friends 20 month old son. I went into the garage to get some chicken feed and then suddenly I hear screaming. Run out and Steve attacked the 20 month old, blood all over his face.

He ended up needing 4 stitches on his cheek (this happened less than a month ago, so I'm still hoping it won't scar much). I took him to my parents farm. My 5 year old daughter kept begging Papa to make her "steve-nuggets" for dinner. But yesterday their dog got him instead. Good riddance. I don't think I can bring myself to ever keep a rooster again.

They are not all bad.

I mean look at these faces look do they look horrible to you? Red even thinks I am one of his girls and tries to "court" me every morning.

My two sweet boys

I've never had a rooster. But years ago my sister had some chickens. She had a banty rooster that would charge and fly at you feet first. His name was "Friendly." He wasn't.

We have a partridge chantecler that gets a bit snarky at times. He dances at me, but has run after my DS (6) a couple of times. DS keeps saying we should eat him

The last time he did this, DH explained to him that if we killed him, we couldn't breed (he's our breeding partridge roo right now).

My DH is from Slovakia...when he says the sound "th" it sounds like "d" (says "mudder" instead of "mother," etc). DS thought that DH meant that if we got rid of him we couldn't BREATHE (which, of course DH says "breed"). When DS asked me if it was true that if we killed the rooster we couldn't BREATHE, I had to give a brief birds and bees kind of lecture to my 6 year old.

ALL THIS for a snarky rooster.

My rooster "Carl" persistently attaked my DH EVERY time he went in the yard. We had to find him a new home.

I started out with 3 roos last spring, one was mean as all get out to another roo, so I got rid of 2 and kept the one that was constantly beat up. He was my baby, I loved that roo, but at the end of fall he started attacking my 6 year old son, everytime he saw him. Winter hit and the chickens were locked up and the kids were in the house all the time, but evertime I went out to feed and water them, my baby started attacking me, then he started in on my DH. With spring coming and the chicks being out to free range and the kids being outside he had to go. RIP Buck (he rests in my freezer now)
