Oh, Really?Meyer and MPC ship from the same facility (Meyer handles all the shipping for MPC, they share incubator space, and some of the breeding stock for the chicks is shared between them) so, unless you want sexed bantams or one of the designer mixed breeds that MPC sells like Ameriflowers, you could really order from either and it wouldn't matter. I've ordered from Meyer before and had a good experience with them.
Thank's for your input!I ordered 5 female bantams from Mypetchicken all turned out to be females. They also have their chick sex guaranteed. They also have a 48 hour arrive alive stay alive. They will refund you for the sex mistakes and the deaths. I also have ordered from Meyer hatchery. Not sure what they all have for guarantee but they were nice too.
Oh, Really?
I never knew that!
I think I MAY just go with MPC because they have a few of the mixed and I wanted a Sex Millie Fleur.
Don't you have to order XYZ many chicken of XYZ breed with cackle? And doesn't it have a large minimum order??I like the Cackle Hatchery best. Never had any babies from them die on their part. If they ever did die, it was always my fault. The babies have always arrived healthy and active. Imo, Cackle is the best.![]()
For chickens I believe if you want different breeds, it must be a minimum of 1, 2, or 3 per breed. I can’t remember.G
