Painting the inside of the Coop

Have a lot of people here painted the inside of their coops, besides just the floor?
Do you have any pics??? I was just going to paint my floor a semi-gloss exterior paint for cleaning purposes, but now I think I will paint the whole inside.
Thoughts?

I painted the walls and ceiling with a pinkish porch/floor paint. It was on a miss-match discount paint shelf for $5.00

I am painting the inside of the one we are currently building. It seals up the plywood pretty good and makes washing out the coop easier when it is needed.

When it warms up we will make some revisions on the #1 coop. At that time we will paint it to help with the light. You've got a good idea

I used white melamine-faced masonite to cover the studs and insulation, then slapped white caulk over the screwheads and seams.

I poured white oil-based enamel on the floor plywood and smeared it around with a roller (so much paint it wouldn't roll - too slick). It's holding up great, and I can hose out my coop. Makes the coop pretty bright with the light coming through the "ReStore" special window, a $150 bottom-open crank-out we paid 15 clams for.

I used exterior paint so I can blast it with a lot of water pressure. I haven't done it yet, but I plan to.

We just painted the inside of ours last weekend. I gave the kids permission to use whatever paint they could find in the basement and this is what they did....
Light blue and a very pale grey made the sky

Bubblegum pink nesting boxes of course,

finally alternating pink & whiteish walls

have Fun!!

I primed the inside with Kilz, then painted the walls with light blue porch paint. The floor is made from 1/2" hardibacker, and the kickplate around the edge is also hardibacker. I painted the entire floor with tan colored 2-part epoxy floor paint.

The bottom line is that my coop is very easy to clean, and the entire interior is as poop-proof as I know how to make it...
