Pheasant flight pen? lots of questions (pic)

I am making my flight pen soon for my 26 pheasant. I have a few questions, before my dad makes a small little pen. I did some calculations and did some research and I found that I could make a 20'x30' for them. Here are my questions:
1. Is the 20'x30' big enough?
2. How high should I make it? I am thinking 8'
3. How could I make it predator proof?
4. I can allow anywhere from 15'-100' +/- feet for bird
5*. What do I do for protection from predators or hawks coming in from the sides and grabbing the birds?
6. What do I do for food and water once they get outside? range feeders?
7. When do they go outside?
8. When can I release?

* for protection I am thinking 4-5 of these

I forgot to add I have a 2-3 acre field behind my house for them if I need more space.

Ticks I started my pheasants out in this. It is 16ft wide x 5 ft tall x 8ft long.

Right before mating season (March here {Ohio})
I separated them into separate pens. 3 hens per 1 cock bird.
This is what they are in now, and what they will stay in. Each one of those pens are 5ft tall x 4ft wide x 8ft long. They have more than enough room.

I am keeping 5 for "pets" 1 cock bird 4 hens. The rest I am releasing forgot to say that. UPDATE: new question

You need .25sq. ft. per bird 1 to 10 days old. 1 sq. ft. per bird 11 days to 6 weeks. 4 sq. ft. per bird 6 to 12 weeks and at least 20 sq. ft. for mature flight pheasant. You can go up to 5 hens per rooster. I would build it 12 to 15 feet high if you want the birds to be flight conditioned. If you need a place to buy flight pen netting, I used Endurance Net Inc.

The tallest I could find was 8 ft. maybe 10 ft.

Also recommend useing blinders pheasants are bad for canniblisim, if you keep some for breeders i"ve succeessfully used one rooster for 8 to 10 hens. also try to provide plenty of greens.

I'd make it atleast 6ft high. As for feeders I'd keep them close to the door as possible because if you gotta go to the other end you gotta walk through flighty bird that can hurt themselves in a panic! As for predators can't really help ya there I always just kept an eye on the pen never really had alot of problems! I was always told that you should only keep birds that you plan on releasing on your property for a population is 5wks max . But if you plan on hunting a couple you can stock some the night before!

I would also bury the wire so nothing can dig under. as far as flying predators not much you can do. good luck
