Hi, I am not new to the forums, but this bnb is my first post. I have a bantam hen that is currently sitting on 10 eggs. She started sitting on Sunday so today is only day 5. 2 days ago we picked her up to love on her and noticed a big fleshy spot on the back of her neck, you have to move her feathers to see it. It doesn't seem to be bothering her. There was a larger rooster in with her for a few weeks, currently there are 11 6 week old chicks sharing her coop. Photos attached, thanks for the help!

I can't say for sure but it could be damage from mating since it's in the area where a rooster would grab on.

It looks like a tumor, but could be an abscess or a feather cyst from an ingrown feather. I would be tempted to lance it and see what is found inside. There would be solid puss inside if it is an abscess.
