What did you do in the garden today?

I bought a mini blender that can grind things into powder, so far, I have had good results with dried green onions, dried moringa, and dried hot chili peppers. I will try my red speckled lima beans from last year next. This is the main reason for buying something like this. I want to try making bread with the bean flour mixed with regular flour. The only negative I have is it can only grind dried items, and I can only use a semi damp cloth or paper towel to it clean.
Show us the blender you bought that works so well. All I have that does a good job is my coffee grinder and its so little. Would love something a little bigger.

It's small, but little bigger than the coffee grinder that I have. My coffee grinder has one blade with the tips on both ends bent up. This one has more blade tips on a solid piece. It's kind of flimsy and can't be used in a commercial setting. It can make only small batches at a time, since the direction says pulse for 5 seconds up to 1 minute and bowl should not be filled more that 2/3 full. It also says if directions aren't followed the unit will heat up and shut off until cooled and will run again.

I made 1/2 a cup of red speckled Lima bean powder, and I had to shift it through a fine strainer to get the grit out to be ground again.

I made a flat bread with 1/2 cup of bean powder, 3 & 1/2 cup regular flour, 2 tsp yeast and 1 & 1/2 cup milk. I pressed the risen dough down and made it flat with my fingers. I poked holes around the dough and drizzled olive oil on it.

The bean flour changes the taste and color of the flat bread. It's hard to describe the taste, it's kind of addicting. I will make it again.

The picture shows a tsp of moringa powder for consistency reference. I mix it with hot water and consume it for nutrition. It tastes like tea.

Bella had 10 but only 6 are alive. It's sad but at least she's doing good and taking care of them.

it is better for her to have less puppies. much easier to feed 6 than 10.

I plan to grind veggies and keep powder in jars instead of freezing. I can use them in soups.

we had some rain. forecast says the next 3 days will be rainy. we desperately need rain.

You can also use small pieces of white bread to clean the “dust” out of the grinder. Just put the pieces of bread in the processor bowl and grind that. It thoroughly wipes the bowl clean.
