What did you do with your flock today?

I am thinking of starting a YouTube channel to host my chook videos.
I have been using Streamable for the time being as it is quick and easy, but it does have some limitations.

However I WON'T be doing the typical 'influencer' thing of yacking for several minutes at the start of the videos, begging for likes and subscribes, saying "smash that subscribe bell!", inserting adverts in the middle, using clickbait thumbnail images or pulling stupid contorted faces in the thumbnail images, or using the chickens as fodder to attract views for talking about myself or to promote something else etc.

Aloha chicken people!
@PopoMyers , i am so sorry for your loss :hugs . I hope your heart and head are in a good spot. You worked really hard to keep your babies safe and well. She had a good chicken life ♡
@Noraaaaa absolutely LOVELY ♡ only 5 years... looking good! How often do you get to ride? We had horses (western) but my dh got hurt a few times too many so we sold our babies a few years back. They were young, we are old, not a great combo.
I enjoyed but don't regret the sale. Lots of work.

@Smokerbill have you ever de-wormed your flock? Maybe do a fecal float from your vet? Cheap and easy ♡ Too young for soft shells and dangerous ☹️. Hope you get it turned around soon :fl

@Shetland lover your babies are always a joy to see. Love Cochins. :love:love love your stories of their personalities.

I forgot to lock the chicken hatch again last eve so my bandits are out roaming the yard. I love seeing them out and about, plus DH is not home so hall pass 👍

Girls have been laying gangbusters still. 21 eggs in 3 days from 10 chooks. Terrific chickens.

I do need to get out there and do a big clean after I tidy up the kitties. Going to be another busy day.

So funny, of course to post videos here we have to post it on YouTube first, and insert the link. Just from doing that, I've had a couple followers. Have fun, and post here as well. We love seeing others chooks.

One of my chickens started molting last night, lots of feathers scattered around and she's looking scraggly. I gave them all some cooked pork today for extra protein.

I hope their egg quality improves soon. One or more of them keeps laying thin shell brittle eggs, which get eaten in the nest box after they break. At least they're not going to waste. They don't bother with the solid shell eggs at all, so it's ok with me that they eat the bad ones.
I have one like that, and one of my leghorns is the first to troll for them. It's an occasional thing here, and they have oyster shell available.
