I thought of getting a small breed, like dachshund or westie, but blind so likely to injure them. Would love a st Bernard, but don't like the dribble. My current thinking (since I can't currently have a guide dog) is a border collie. Nice medium size, and would be company for walks. Will it happen ... who knows. Lol.
