I am looking for a sq silkie pair, I'm looking to spend $500-$1000. Could anyone point me in a good direction? Do I need to spend more?

Hi go to the American poultry association website. look up the master exhibitors list and the Hall of Fame breeders list. cross reference them . find silkie breeders that are on both of them and start looking around. Best,
Karen

I'm not sure putting a price on a forum is the way to go. 3rivers has it right, do a little leg work.
Go to a poultry show and pick up a trio of good birds. Don't throw down money sight unseen. That just stinks of desperation or scam.
