I don't have that good of an eye, these look too much like BCMs. Christy doesn't have muffs or beard and I haven't seen any yet on chicks.I know this wasn’t directed at me but I’ll share my experience. My F1 OEs all had obvious Marans faults from hatch. It might be blue feathers, green or yellow legs, pea comb, or beards but there was always something of if I looked for it. Some of my back crosses this year are starting to look a whole lot more like the BCM sire.

One is an Ermine x Blue Plymouth Rock, it's a pale cream egg so if the chick is a pullet it should lay a pale blue or possibly lightly green tinted egg.Ermine Ameracaunas, Ermine x EE and something else I can't remember because again...
