I have 1 Golden laced Wyandotte and 1 Silver laced Wyandotte.
Before I embarked on having my first Wyandotte I read many articles online about it.

My Golden laced girl Pretty does not have the personality I read about this breed. She constantly go broody, nervous as anything, run off often like a headless chicken, lay few eggs.

My Silver laced girl -Goldie is exactly what I read about this breed, she has this air of superiority, she shows other who is the boss if they pick on her, she is alone and she particularly does not like the golden laced girl for being running headless often.

They do not like to be held, they do try to tolerate, but tiny tolerance of being held. They are so beautiful to look at, and my Goldie often fly high from one part of the garden to another and scream at the same time. I love her face, she has a face of an eagle.

Yes, I will always have a few Wyandotte in my flock. Magnificent looking bird and I don't worry about them being bully.

I would love to add a Blue laced Wyandotte to my flock and I heard that this particular colour is very rare.
