Paper towels are slippery you need something grippy on the floor. I use rug grippers that go under rugs and cut the size I need for the brooder. You can wash and reuse them.
Also, you need to grind up the quail's feed. I use a coffee grinder, and it works perfect.

I wasn't going to incubate anything through the winter... but I ended up putting some Jumbo Quail eggs from Ebay (Texas) in my incubator. I've bought some from her before.

I had 30 hatch the last 3 days. Not one white one, so they whites aren't even breeding each other. All wild type Jumbos Homegrown.
