He’s 21 1/2 inches at the shoulder already and he’s 18 weeks old. Breed standard is 23-25 inches.:th

Narragansetts! We were supposed to get Bourbon Reds but I guess there was different plans set for us. :) They’re very curious compared to chicks. Not as curious as our gosling was though!

Honestly that was the best hatching time I had ever experienced. Staying up for days on end waiting on my abandoned broody eggs and your balutties to hatch. :highfive: I was still new around here then.
I believe it! If crowing is directly related to mating practices and fertility then it’s no wonder all of our (chicken) eggs have been 100% fertile. :rolleyes: Loud mouthes get the job done!
