I'm way behind. I'm out of town with ds class on a field trip, we fly home late tomorrow night so i'll set mine this weekend. Better late than never.

Question, I made hatching baskets and seperated the eggs at lock down but i'm convinced one chick climbed over... Do Ameraucana chicks ever hatch out chipmunk? I'm convinced an Icelandic scaled the fence and went to play with the neighbors.

I popped in real quick and I'm confronted with this bit of fuzzy cuteness!!! THANK YOU for sharing :D

I'm checking in from Juneau, DH says we had 13 not hatch. So that's a 62% hatch rate for me.

I just received confirmation that the Icelandic chicks made it to Fairbanks, they're spreading fuzzy cuteness across this great state.

Re wry neck. I've had a couple birds get it, usually the silkies... But I give them poly-vi-sol infant vitamins without iron, and they do just fine. A couple drops three or four times a day for a couple days does the trick. Sorry you lost one Jake.

I have fuzzies!!!! There were 16 eggs and 3 more chicks in the bator. Hopefully tomorrow will see the rest of them hatched. g'night

I believe I have 31 in the brooder. I counted 31 still in the bator and did the math cause these little sprites won't sit still :D Now I'm off to class, I won't be home for HOURS. Hopefully, I'll survive :P

I just pulled some of the cutest little Icelandics out of the incubator I'm working on finding my camera cord so I can download the pics. Is there anything better than snuzzeling fuzzies?

I have 12 in the brooder so far and another 8 or so drying in the hatcher. I got a coupe pictures but my DS has the laptop with the card reader built in so now I'm off to find the cord that allows me to plug the camera into this laptop to download pics.
