I'm getting rid of my last 2 pekins, 2 males in October. (They are going to a very nice place) just thought id share. Even though I won't have pekins anymore, (though I am getting a white call) I will still continue to answer questions and help out on the thread, as these lovely ducks were my...

But the most common is pekin so you may have that, buff is also possible, WL aren't very common as pets and usually aren't sold in stores.
I have a jumbo pekin named DJ Quack. Best duck ever. Jumbos are so calm and friendly, and fat! :) you made a good choice, DJ is so funny and the leader of my flock. (Well that may change soon, my magpie baby is pretty feisty)
I'm not sure what your asking here... But If your saying that a gas station some how messed up a meter on their property and it may have effected your eggs than I don't think you can do anything
Ok any suggestions?
I have lost my 2 girls, a khaki and a pekin girl and I rehomed 2 pekin drakes. That brings me down to 4 drakes. I have 4 female ducklings inside right now, to increase my flock. I do have 5 grown Cayuga females but they've found another pond and somehow survived all last...
He is very cute :) but I think you should consider getting another duck. He'd be much happier. He is probably just molting, but I really would get him a friend

Sounds like male and female :) you'll know for sure when the drake gets curly feathers on his tail. This is one of my pekin drakes. They are usually larger than females. CONGRATS ON YOUR DUCKIES!
They should be fine with dad around, but you may want to seperate him once they hatch. If your pekin hatches her eggs don't take them away, let her mother them.
Well, there are ducks in the wild, and their still here so...
But to answer your question, you can leave them with mom. I bet she'd like that anyway. Just make sure she can have a separate resting place so if she wants to get away she can. I'd jut let nature do the rest. But CONGRATS ON YOUR...
One of my boys likes to eat cereal in the morning, milk and all. And I have a friend who's pekin house duck (RIP the duck, he lived 16 yrs) who ate pizza. But they had to take him to the vet to get him medicine because he couldn't handle the pizza anymore.
