Thank you! Leaves me anxious to try again tomorrow.
My great grandfather would have yelled, “Keep it’s head up!”
I did everything possible, but he was heading down the beach and got out of control. But, I could only have kept it if was 22 inches and a hatchery fish.
Thank you Bob! 😉
By the way, I caught my first salmon this evening, too small to keep. (Live in WA for 8 years and never caught one.) But then, I had a giant on my line, sadly, he snapped the line. :barnie
NO hard feelings! Oh no! I dont even like looking into the deep dark water of theme rides, much less what lies in a lake! :lau (Or the ocean... *shivers*)
It must be.
I try to tick them off! 😅
I now have a whole heap of names to give to the chickens that don't have any, or have been forgotten!
(Hagrid, Neville, Hermione, Snape....(Only give that one to a mean rooster), and many others.
BYbob, Royalchick, and MJ have all seen my boy, but I don't think anyone else on here has.
@featherhead007, this is Bootsie. He was the product of my Red bantam Cochin hen, and our standard (giant) buff Brahma rooster! He has longer legs than the bantam cochin rooster, (his uncle) but does not...
I have always wanted a partridge, I love that color!
I only have three bantam Cochin, two reds, and a white.(A red rooster, and the two hens are red, and white)
You must be proud of him! He is quite the looker!
I'm of Swedish origins myself, so I had to name one of my hens a nordic themed name!
Astrid is my white splash olive egger, and I have always loved that name!
(Astrid is an old Scandinavian name that means “divinely beautiful")
