I'm sure everyone on this thread will do what they can, but you might get a better, more specific advice on a new thread with your exact topic-- something like "Hatching Guineas in a Nature Right 360" or "Best Practices for Hatching Guineas."

I've used shelf liner for the entire incubation period and didn't seem to have any trouble with turning. There was plenty of clearance, the humidity was fine, and the air circulation was still good. I'd say the potential benefit is worth it.

    I don't know, but I feel your uncertainty! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After @Iluveggers recent results on hatching and air-cell size (which I assume is a sort of proxy for how the egg was affected by humidity), what have you been running your humidity at while incubating? Is it possible that you might either raise humidity a little or (if you've had it high) lower...

I may have missed it, but how many eggs in total? I'd be inclined to try to get them hatched before I left. Are there few enough that you could put them all in the outside ring only? The temps there are a tiny bit more stable and (maybe) promote early hatching?

I put the shelf liner in before I started incubating in my NR360. It didn't seem to affect the incubation at all. The turner worked as designed and there was plenty of clearance for the liner under the turner. When the incubator hit lock-down date all I had to do was open for a few seconds to...

The link behind this actually take one to Google's safe browsing report. To get to the live stream it's necessary to copy the text shown, then paste that into a new browser window. I watched the quail for a while... what is the potential benefit of leaving in the turner?

Starting another hatch? I had to pull the B plug to help get my humidity down. I would think that it only has to be blocked if you can't keep the humidity high enough.

This this is a little better, maybe? It's harder to get photos in my hand because the chick changes posture. When it is walking around, it looks a little like a swept wing fighter! I'm feeding Purina Starter/Grower crumbles. They seem to like it well enough.

I have one chick whose wing feathers look a little odd. I've searched and read quite a few threads and most seem to say that wing problems for chicks go away as they mature. I thought I would post a picture here for comment. I did also post it on another, old, thread about "angel wing"...

Yes, definitely too early to give up on them. I don't know what an internal pip would look like, though. I didn't candle any of the eggs until late in the hatch. I would guess that it is a shadow into the air cell region of the egg. If that's the case, then egg A shows signs of internal...

Did you see any movement when you candled? From the pictures, those look a lot like the three eggs that I had that didn't hatch. I left them in the incubator for another two days, but there was nothing. I should have done an eggtopsy, but I just disposed of the eggs assuming they were late...

I left the first hatchling I had in my incubator for about a day and a half. They can stand several days without food or water. They should be okay. Every one of the chicks I watched hatch I was sure was going to die. When they first hatched they looked horrible. With more time, they got...

I would leave them in until they are completely fluffy. If you can slip out the shells, that will give them a little more room.

The thermostat was able to hold the temperature even with the cover -very- slightly open.

For a while, I had to set the lid ever so slightly off center-- one edge off the locking pin in the back. That, with the vent fully open, gave just enough more ventilation that I could get the humidity under 50%. You may have to do something similar.

I would keep the humidity up and not stress too much on the temperature. Mine showed lower once the thermometer stopped rotating with the eggs. I would only bump it up a little if the thermometer is right next to the egg. It may have landed in a slightly cooler spot in the incubator.

Once mine started hatching, the humidity jumped up to 72-75%. The others hatched great at that humidity.

So, I have a question about the "Days to Hatch" countdown on the NR 360. I started the eggs at about 8:00 pm on April 15th. I reset the counter to 21 days at that point (I thought?). This morning I checked the counters and it said "3" days remaining... I'm confused about the countdown now...
