The father is a blue wheaten and the mom is a regular wheaten. so yes there's a chance that one of them is a splash which would throw me off a bit. I know for sure there is one boy in there (the dark one)
the dad is a blue wheaten
I didn't look at their tails because it depends on the breed...
These are my 3 wheaten ams, about 2-3 weeks old. Here are my guesses on their genders so far.
set 1- this one is light colored so i'm going to guess PULLET
set 2- this one is very dark so I'm guessing ROO
set 3- this one is very light and I'm 90%...
can't tell yet. they go through different phases, first it's the all yellow fluff, then the wings come in with a honey color. THEN when they lose the body fluff both genders turn brown, the male will be darker brown, THEN finally that falls off and the males turn black/blue grey with a brown...
Buff, brown red, and silver.would be.considered rare. But almost all the varieties are rare because you can only get them from a breeder and no hatchery sells them.
if you sell eggs let me know! i have a hen and a cockerel but the darn cockerel has bantam in his background and I really don't like banties. I would really like to infuse more LF into them.
