You are quickly making me think of adding ducks! I'm still holding off tho, no pond and a sever dislike of super messes.

Is she not alive or just sleeping? Also that spider is taking on more than he can handle.

Lol yeah, it's the home hatched that are at 5 months not the Cackle babies.

She is 14 weeks old and from Cackle. So just at 5 months old right now. I had one from my first order from them that was good in the tail as well. Goldie that hatched the chicks out, who is going through molt right now.

I culled the cross beak today. I'm sure for me it was maybe the wrong way. I did a breaking of the neck by hand. Was ok for like 10 to 15 mins then got real dizzy. I am not as thick skinned as I once was.

That could be it. The roosts are well let's see if I have a picture. They are garden or landscaping tembers.

And ugh, they all still huddle on the ground in a corner to sleep. They use the roosts during the day but sleep on the ground in the corner at night. 😕

Creel OEGB bantams I got from TSC. They are growing on me. I'm not particularly fond of barred chickens. One to the left is definitely a cockerell the other I'm un sure of yet.

I really want to get some of Moonies eggs! Maybe in 2 to 4 weeks. If not it will have to be next year.
