Well, set my eggs in the April hatch a long, they hatched in the May hatch a long, They are coming up on a month old and now I have another broody. Guess I'll have to reconnect on the broody thread. Thanks Mike and Sally for all your time and effort. Its been fun.
Thanks, it was. Broody mama is doing great. I am anxiously awaiting comb development to see what I have. 3 weeks old now.
It was warm. Hot hasn't even begun, however.

EIGHT! Fluffy butted Cochin babies!
Two eggs still under but no pips or sounds. I'll give them another 24 hours.
Congratulations on all the hatching!
Today is my day 21. I had a big event today so I have not hovered over my broody to listen for peeps, but when I tucked everyone in for the night I did note a half a shell that had been pushed out from under mama! There's at least one in there!
Tomorrow...
Looks like babies are popping out all over! Day 19 for my Broody girl. No peeps that I could hear. I'll listen again tomorrow. Waiting and not touching is so hard!
Candles tonight. Looks like all 10 are doing well. Hard to see in the dark shells. Lock in for my broody girl tomorrow. Good thing I am busy the next few days. Saturday seems sofar away.
Thank you!
Me too. It seems like I am broody busting every day. I just don't have the space to give them all eggs. They would be fighting all the time and the eggs would never make it.
Yes they are much smaller. I don't have any side by side pics yet, but here are some of my llamas.
The boys: Poteau and Denalli
The girls: Sonora, Flaming Star, Sha-Boom, and Ladyhawke.
