I made this for the allotment chickens. While we didn't and are unlikely to get temperatures as high as 115 last year got into the mid 90s. It's a prototype I should add. Two layers of 90% shade cloth with an air gap on top; The sides will also have two layers when it's finished. Three layers...

I've had the watering debate a few times now. It wasn't uncommon when I was in Catalonia and to a lesser extent here at the allotments to find people watering with a hosepipe in full sunlight. I've tried pointing out that a look at the skies when it rains, and when it doesn't gives a clue about...

There will I'm sure come a point when we can slow down the ageing process, but what will happen with the brain? I was talking with my elder sister and she's 4 years older than me and what she says she has lost/is losing is tolerance. I'm pretty short on that now.:rolleyes: :lol:

It really is the worst thing about growing older.
