    Vehve- you are right that there is little worse than a dull knife. But you can get it sharpened or use the broomstick method. I like to restrict feed for at least 12 hours. Makes for fewer leaks from either end. After you've dispatched the bird, wet with a hose or dunk repeatedly in a bucket...
