Your guy is nice, perhaps its the photos, but I Tuzo should have pearl colored eyes and a less upright tail. He might be a nice Tuzo grade.

This is the Tuzo cock that I used to have. A fox got him last fall. I've posted photos earlier in this thread but there are new people viewing who haven't seen them and they're long buried now.

Regarding the Pearl eye, you are correct! Its not a requirement that the Tuzo come pearl eyed, since their is no standard in the US. Plus, some of the juvenile birds can have gold or orange-ish colored eyes that should change into pearl as they mature. So I dont not disagree with you. But where its been standardized the acceptable color is either pearl or gold in mature fowl.

Again, it could have been the photo quality, angle or age of the bird but those are two of the aspects of bird I noticed that seemed "off" to me.
