Well this isn’t exactly the flock photo yall asked for, but I’m a proud mama with my chooks roosting for the first time! All 13 lined up yes, I did have to block off the nesting boxes but it was totally worth it and only took 3 days for them to figure this out

Flock update- 7/8 weeks old and they are *almost* on their “regular chicken schedule” - going in and out to their run with the auto-door, flocking to me for a treat once a day and to peck my boots, and really enjoying the spring air and plenty of space to flap their wings. Portrait of our gold laced polish who were still not sure the sex of!

I like that you monitor your girls. In watching them we eventually discern what's normal for our birds or if something is a little "off" about them.

I have noticed that all my birds are a “little off” (few exceptions)
