The Sounds of Spring

Much like in the fall the sounds of spring here include scratching chickens.

Buttons! Buttons! What is the attraction to my shirt buttons?
And I noticed that, the more expensive the shirt is, the more likely it attracts the attention of my chooks! (And they poop too)

Georgie Girl was quite serious about the button and zippers on my jackets. She made it her duty to ensure I was safe from the evil buttons, she was quite vicious about grabbing and pulling really hard, all the while growling and trying to kill the dreadful things!

I could only think that she thought they were beetles or something.

Stop the food talk! I have a serious issue with cankers and can barely eat! And all I can think of is how nice a chocolate bar would be!

Wow, Lady Featherington really blends into those leaves well. Beautiful and camouflaged to boot - maybe the Army should commission her to work on their next set of camo wear for the troops!

Mrs LC blends in so well I lost her on the weekend! Luckily when I brought everyone in she came running over to the door.

And funnily enough these two grey girls with their speckles blend in the dappled sunlight
