Help! Egg yolk looking poop.

She’s actually looking better this evening, she’s walking with the flock rather than sitting off somewhere by herself. She’s eating kale but now interested in scratch or crumbles. She’s not puffed up but is still walking a little slow. So hoping it’s cocci and not EYP, feeling cautiously optimistic

Keep close monitor her
I'm so glad she's doing fine :hugs

Kathy (@casportpony ) is the syringe feeding expert!

Mine love Kale too. Will she eat on her own? If you have it, I would offer Chick Starter, you can mix it with water to make it into a mash, mine like it fairly "firm" like cookie dough, but your girl might like it soupier like oatmeal, you have to play with the consistency to see what they prefer.

What's kale ? Is that similar like spinach?

Kale is a dark leafy green, so I suppose you could compare it somewhat to Spinach.
Both have vitamins/minerals which can be beneficial to chickens (and humans:)). I give fairly small amounts since they contain oxalic acid, which in large quantities can inhibit the absorption of Calcium. I have not found info on how much is "too much" so I usually only give Kale once/twice a week, but my girls seems to crave it above just about any other veggie/green. I like to give Broccoli as well, if it's reasonably priced.

Oh wow I didn't know about that I'll surely have kale and start giving it to my boys :ya

Update: my buff is hanging in there but is skin and bones! As a last ditch effort I tried feeding them left over spahetti (which they love) and she actually went crazy and ate some. I know it’s not super healthy but I just want to get some food in her body. The Asian black seems to be fine today, pooping and acting normal so that’s a relief.
