I need inspiration! Show me your chicken fencing!

In case anyone was wondering what I meant:

The dog pen in my photo above is also welded wire but I used metal T-posts instead of wooden posts and attached the wire fencing with T-post clips. I suggested a non-permanent fence because you said you only wanted to use it occasionally (it's easier to set up and to pick up to mow and move, etc.), but if permanent fencing is what you are looking for welded wire is a good DIY option.
Thank you! I really want to look into both.

What kind of gate did you use with your tposts and welded wire?

Why not coat the end of that post?
I speculated that by sealing the bottom it would lock in any moisture wicked up from the exposed portion of the post. But I probably didn't even need to seal them because they are green pressure treated. I did use pea gravel at the bottom so they can drain.

Though I have had a friend say he's replaced his two or three times over the last 10-15 years. We get around 30+ inches of rain a year.

The fabric is galvanized welded wire. I use a mix of 14 or 12.5 gauge. The 14 guage is a little cheaper and not heavy so a little easier to work with.

I attach the fabric by using a cheap set ratcheting bar clamps. Then you can get cat's claws fasteners or exterior screws with stainless steel rubber washers (what I used after I ran out of cat's claws.
Big shout out for the Cat Claw fasteners! They work awesome and are so much easier than staples.
