Soooo...
Just so I get this right, because men and women think differently, men are better equipped to run a large farm operation with numerous employees than women?
Glad I didn't say that.
BTW, Polyface is considered a small to medium size farm by most standards. It is only 250 acreas. My farmer Grady (the former Salatin apprentice) and his dad run a couple thousand acre ranch.
LOL! Kind of...let me 'splain again what I mean here for you slooooow men
JK! Don't get your droors in a twist Buster
Men seem to be able to pass by the messes without blinking, as women pay much more attention to detail and are more inclined to "fix it now" rather than wait. BOTH have their place on the farm for sure, ANY farm, large or small. I just don't think a man can do it right on such a large farm, nor would a woman get it all done by herself due to the fact we'd generally stop and work on this or that more often than passing it up to move on to the next chore thinking we'll "get it later." I ADORE the strengths and weaknesses of both genders for what they are, and believe as very much opposing genders, we compliment each other. No better or worse as a whole, just some tasks are indeed gender specific with the ocassional exception to the rule.
