Here are some updated pictures of the Flower Flock. They're a little less than thrilled to be handled at the moment, but I managed okay! The first four are 6 weeks old, and the last four are 4 weeks old.

Daisy (Buff Orpington)- We had a birthday party for my son on Sunday, and my dad pointed out how tasty she looked! :lau

Poppy (Silver Laced Wyandotte)- She's still the smallest, and I'm honestly a little worried about how little she's grown.

Hazel (Barnevelder)- She's the new boss of the flock.

Ivy (Easter Egger)- I think she's probably the prettiest of the flock! :drool Shed be my favorite, except she took about ten minutes to catch today when her sisters went in with no problem. :barnie

They are growing up beautifully.

Happy Birthday to me! The Flower Flock just grew by four! :love

Introducing:

Clementine (Ameraucana)
This one is already my favorite. I spotted her first in a bin of at least 100 chicks. She is definitely not timid either! She already walks right into my hands with no fuss, and she loves to nestle up in my shirt.

Mimosa (Ameraucana)
So. Much. Fluff! She's pretty chill and laid back, which is surprising for such a flighty breed.

Ash (Olive Egger)
I've got my eye on this one. She's extremely nervous, and she has a case of diarrhea. First time I held her, she sh*t all over the front of me. Pretty impressive for such a tiny thing.

Sage (Olive Egger)
This is probably the smartest of the four. She has eyes that take everything in, but she isn't flighty or timid. Maybe she's a he.

I'm getting 6 more chicks at the end of this week, too! :D

Update on the last additions!

Unfortunately, we lost sweet Mimosa before the big move to a rat snake. He must've been desperate, because she was too big for him to swallow. She'll be forever missed. 💔

The rest of the girls are thriving. We've moved to a new town with more land, so they have plenty of room to run. Also, I discovered that I had been tricked by the local feed and seed with their "Ameraucanas". 🙄 Still love my sweet Clementine, though.

Left to right: Sage (OE), Clementine (EE), and Ash (OE). All are approximately 7 weeks old.

I'm so sorry about mimosa. :hugs
What a great photo. How did you get them to pose like that? :gig
