I love the quail newborn stage. When I reach my hand into the brooder, they swarm around me and try to climb my fingers and peck at me in curiosity. :love By a few days old the previous batch ran away in a panic every time I reached in to refill food and water. :(:rolleyes:

A handful of them just left and joined their buddies in the drawer. I should probably put them in a bag and return them to the game shelf...

How about 4-11? Most of them hatched after supper yesterday.

Oh! I found another handful of the marbles in a kitchen drawer. I debated adding them too, but if you’re sure I have enough... ;)

Lol!! No worries! I got sidetracked. I actually stole those marbles from the kids’ failed sea monkeys tank. (The box didn’t say you need the water to be 80° for them to hatch :rolleyes:) But THEY stole the marbles from the game shelf. By the end of the year, those marbles will have been used...
