    Hello all! I've been buuuuuuusy! I took in another retired show rabbit. A Dutch, who is such a beautiful big eyed girl. My ducks are doing well, the males are still living in the orchard, instead of their pen and by the pond... :/ the ladies are getting SO big! They don't even eat baby food...

    Yes, pekins usually don't go broody. My pekin girls never laid eggs on land either, always in the water... In the 3 years I had them I got 4 eggs between 2.

    No your ducks are to big to fly. Don't worry. Unless you have mallards, or calls, they can't get very far off the ground.

    Awwww bumble foot sounds awful, in all the years I've kept ducks I've never experienced bumble foot. Mine are usually extremely healthy. Never had a problem. Good Luck with your duck!!!! 2 of my male pekins (DJ Quack, and Farkle) in the yard :) perfect scenery isn't it?
