If you post pictures of your chicks the people here can help. You can also look at the pictures and videos on the Cackle Hatchery website. At least we know they have to be breeds that Cackle sells, so that helps.

So how many lived? Do you know how many days they were in transit? Cackle says they guarantee 40 chicks. So if fewer than 40 lived, Cackle will send more chicks to you.

My father moved often when I was a kid. Moving is expensive and causes a lot of disruptions. So, are you going to cancel the surprise order and move? Where does your husband want to go?
