They are about 2 1/2 months old. The girls were doing a majority of the "fighting" but they are all getting along now. There was only one duckling that was smaller than the adult hens that I was worried about. But all happy now. It will be different when I add the 3 chicks, they are much...

Lol all the adult ducks were playing in the snow when we brought the crate in. They came inside to see what all the fuss was and I said "Howard, you ARE the father!" Lol

Well they have been put in the crate and took a sleigh ride to the coop. So far everyone is quacking and shaking of tail feathers and it appears to be getting along. Would a momma duck know they are their babies if they didnt hatch them?

Thank you! This is our first winter with the peeps & quacks (my nickname for our feather babies). So far only the ducks are big enough to join the"big" kids. Our 3 chickens are much smaller than the older birds so we plan to keep them in a little while longer. I am thinking about putting them in...

Thanks :) 3rd times the charm. I am 95% sure 3 are Rouen Khaki crosses (the brown feet make me think they are) but not sure if the fluffy yellow one is a Peking or a Peking Khaki cross.

yes it gets pretty cold up here on the 45th parallel. Last winter and 2 weeks of -20*. Fingers crossed it doesn't get that cold again. I want to put a grate in it to elevate it so they aren't walking in over splash. Here's Hunter and the chickens And #2 just hatched.

They are doing great. Earlier I put new duckie named Hunter in a clear plastic salad container (no lid on it of course) so it could gain its strength. Now they are all sleeping in a pile together :) 2 eggs zipping, 2 others are pipped and 3 more taking their time
