When I put them all up, I noticed that my two asil hens had been getting attacked by something. They were acting fine, but when I picked them up to check them out, I saw that chunks of flesh had been ripped out of various parts and scabbed over. One wound is new, the whole top of my hens head is ripped open, but not to the skull. Both are acting fine, so I am medicating them and keeping them clean. At least I know they are tough birds.

I found the culprit too, a huge tom cat that is about to be chicken feed.

Does anyone have any pictures of Malay chicks they specifically hatched from Ideal? I'd like to see the adults. I know they'll be far off... just want to get an idea of exactly what Ideal Malay turn out to be.
