Oh wow, let me go out and find my mathamachicken (Dakota)
She loves those things! She’s also into full moons and car rides. IMG_3966.jpeg IMG_3966.jpeg

I now realize, since I am zonked out of my mind on post-surgery meds, that I am VERY confused as to the breeds and mixes of most of these chicks. So there's a few that cannot be anything else, and a bunch that I'm not sure.
Let them grow. As they feather out (sometimes including adult 12 week moult) and start laying, things will eventually come clear....mostly :D

Now you know me every night with the meds I take for my RLS - my zombie meds. Have to be careful I don’t fall going to the barn they also make me rather toppley- I once fell off the fence when I was climbing over it - not to worry though - the tree on the other side broke my fall 😆

Silly turnip I am! Tax

I am being careful not to gamble or go on shopping sites. I don't like how I feel on these medications, I will start weaning off of them tomorrow if my pain is leveled off.
Try to take only at night, you still need a good sleep to heal well.

Can you take Ibuprofen or Aleve? They will help with swelling and pain.

Hahaha he is a ham.

I am used to French Marans which have feathered legs.

I really would have like a cuckoo Marans but maybe next year.
I know all 4 of my marans hatched. :) I just don't know if any of the others are marans mixes, because they have feathered legs as well as cochins. Cochins tend to be EXTRA hairy like silkies!!!
