Thank you both! 🥰
I completely forgot about this, somehow it slipped even from the deep recesses in the back of my mind. All fixed now and the eggs don’t seem to be the worse for wear! Day 13 and going strong. 😊
Sorry I don’t have time to read through all the lovely and informative pages! Seems my NR360 stopped turning automatically. It’ll turn when I push the plus and minus buttons together, the so-called test run, but I’ve been monitoring it all day and does not seem to be turning on its own. Anyone...
Thanks!
Well I guess I’ll just have to try and I’ll let you know!🤣 I just got a “hatch to order” order for some Polkies and don’t currently have room in my two incubators with the turners in! I have the eggs though. Normally use one for incubating and the second for hatching. Sometimes have to...
Hi there NR360 fans! I’ve come up with a common dilemma found here on BYC, I have more eggs that I have room for in my incubator!
I have an NR 360 and a 14 egg Brinsea as well. I know from experience I can fit 31 eggs in the Brinsea without the turner. I wanted to ask if any of you know...
Like you, I have read much of this thread, but can not claim to have read all of it, it is a novel!🤣
I have similar humidity here and the NR 360 runs about 30-35% dry. If I add any water at all, it shoots up to 55%. I dry incubate most eggs, but I would like it to be around 45% for my silkie...
I will have to disagree with you here. Shipped eggs have greater odds of being malpositioned. Their air cells are more often than not disrupted. Normally has nothing to do with the strength of the chick or its genetics. The majority of the chicks I have had to assist are perfectly healthy. Agree...
This is the older model. I believe they had some fan issues with the holes being too big and risk of chick injuring itself? Not sure, hopefully others will respond. 😊
Honestly I did not follow their instructions at all, I think they write it up for everyone, so that new beginners without any help or resources, don't mess it up. When I hatched mine from them last year, I did 45% during incubation and upped it during lockdown. I candled them frequently! Maybe...
Sorry you had to go through all of this! Glad you finally got your eggs. I got my breeding stock from Alabama Silkies last year and the folks there are wonderful and the eggs were the best packaged I’ve ever seen. Coming all the way to Hawaii 14 out of 16 hatched. Best hatch rate ever on shipped...
Thanks! So I am not the only one who could not find it!😂
Maybe it does not matter, as long as the eggs are being turned.
I am used to the Brinsea, which can be adjusted from 45 minutes to 3 hour turning frequency.😊
Hi NR 360 fans!
Posted this on the Feb Hatch-along, but have not had any responses yet and I am impatient to know!
What is the NR 360 default turing frequency?
I have only used it as a hatcher until now. Can the interval be adjusted? I could find no info in the included instructions! Thanks!😊
Thanks! 🥰
Yes, I sold two of my bullies as well earlier this year for the same reason. 😊
They were a beautiful ameraucana and a marans but they had to go!
My chicks are one 5 1/2 week old, and two 2 1/2 weeks olds that all get along fine together. Thinking of having them out during the day when...
Jumping in on your thread here! How long did you have them side-by-side before you tried putting them together? Looks like they are about eight weeks old give or take, is that correct? I have the same issue three chicks that I’m planning to move outside soon in a separate area right next to the...
