Pippin lays the biggest, darkest eggs, whilst my other silkies lay off-white. One of my Brochins lay a similar colour to Pippin, and her twin lays a lighter cream colour. My d'uccle lays white

At least your silkies roost! Mine all pile up in the nest box and Raven (poor little raven) sleeps under the roost ladder and gets pooped on by Thor and Noodles! But Thor, my frizzle, doesn't get off the roost until she sees a human (eg. Me)
