welcome to BYC. How old are they? Gender can be determined around 10 wks old by their sound: "QUACK" = female, "rasp" = male. Males can also be determined by the appearance of a drake feather usually around 12-14 wks old.

I use nipple waterers with our ducks so they always have a clean source of water. Actually that's all I use in the brooder but I put them in the tub daily to wash their eyes and nostrils. Once out of the brooder I still use the nipple waterer and this:
